It appears you all are torn about half and half about the casting of Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg. For the handful of people who have asked my personal opinion, I will say that, with all honesty, I can’t judge until clips or reviews arrive. When I think of an actor to play Ginsberg, “Daniel Radcliffe” would probably never come to mind for me, but he may prove himself as very capable. We’ll see.
Also, as listeningforthemusic pointed out, in this year’s On the Road movie, Tom Sturridge will take on the role of Ginsberg, too.
I wish the actors luck: Allen was such a multifaceted and fascinating individual. I would certainly find him hard to embody!
(Excuse today’s focus on pop culture. Hey, it matters sometimes.)
