While doing a bit of reading on one of my favourite non-Beat poets, Sylvia Plath, I found some companionship in my opinion that she, and other confessional poets, rode a similar wavelength with the Beats. I love when things I love overlap. (If you’re interested, The Plath Diaries outline a graduate student’s work to write a thesis on Plath. Pretty intriguing!)
